Gareth is a 27 year old freelance writer based in the north-east of England.

'I have had a keen interest in all aspects of film and television production from a very early age, I studied Media through college before completing a Bachelor of Arts in Screen Studies at Liverpool John Moores University in 2006. I have gained experience studying Independent American Cinema, European and World Cinema, Contemporary Hollywood, The UK Film Industry and British Television.

Since graduating I have been involved in several feature films and BBC television productions, highlights being the Oscar-nominated Atonement and documentary series' Inside Out and Panorama. I then went on to work as a production assistant and sound technician for an independent film and television company based in Liverpool for approximately 2 years.

In 2008 I began writing film and television reviews for a regional newspaper in the north-east and in addition became a Contributing Writer for Suite101 in July of 2009 to produce articles based primarily on the film and television industries.'
